What Tertulia costs by your next book
A monthly price looks small. Change the underlined words to match your plan and watch it add up.
On Tertulia Pro, paid yearly, for 3 years, with my own .com.
- Pro is the plan you need to sell books from your own site.
- Yearly plans renew on their own and aren't refunded if you leave partway.
- Your .com is counted on both sides, so the totals stay fair.
Tertulia Pro
billed yearly, 3 years
- Year 1$191.88
plan $191.88, domain free this year
- Year 2$206.88
plan $191.88, domain $15.00
- Year 3$206.88

Your .com still costs about $30 over 3 years at Cloudflare. That money goes to Cloudflare, not us.
Zenpage vs Tertulia, honestly
Tertulia is a good product, and it still does a few things Zenpage doesn't. Here is where each one comes out ahead.

If sending newsletters from your website or selling merch matters most to you, stay on Tertulia. It has 4.8 stars on Trustpilot for good reason. If what you need is book pages, a bio, a signup form and a way to sell, you are paying for things Zenpage gives you for free.
How the move works
About an hour of your time, spread over a week while the domain moves. Your Tertulia site stays live the whole time, so readers never hit a gap.
Start with step 1Paste your Tertulia address
Zenpage does it, about a minute
Zenpage reads your public Tertulia site and builds a preview: books and covers, bio and photo. You see it before you sign up. Nothing changes on Tertulia.
Sign up and keep it
Zenpage does it, a few minutes, in the background
Sign in with your email. Your site goes live at your-name.zenpage.io, then the rest comes over on its own: full descriptions, series, blog posts, events and social links. Your old Tertulia page addresses are saved, so old links will land on the right page later.
Add what stayed behind
You do it, about 20 minutes
Paste your praise quotes into each book. Upload your ebook and audiobook files, set prices, and connect Stripe to sell. Pick one of the eight templates if you want a different look.
Move your readers
You do it, about 15 minutes
Export your subscribers from Tertulia. The list is yours, and Tertulia lets you download it. Import it into Mailchimp, Kit, MailerLite or another provider, then connect that provider in Zenpage. New signups go to both.
Move your domain
You, then a wait, 10 minutes of work, then a few days
If Tertulia registered your domain, ask their support for the transfer code (it exists once the domain is 60 days old) and transfer it to Cloudflare. If you bought it elsewhere, add it to a free Cloudflare account. Then add the two DNS records shown in your Zenpage settings.
Keep Tertulia until this step is done
If your account closes or a payment fails while Tertulia still holds your domain, you can lose the domain.
Cancel Tertulia
You do it, 2 minutes
Do it once your domain shows your Zenpage site, and before your next renewal. Yearly plans are not refunded, so start the move a few weeks before that date.

Cost
On September 22, 2026, Tertulia Basic was $7.99 a month billed yearly ($95.88) or $9.99 month to month. Pro was $15.99 a month billed yearly ($191.88) or $19.99 month to month. There is a 14-day free trial. Selling books from your own site needs Pro. Plans renew automatically and are not refunded.
Yes, it is free, with no paid plan and no card. An author site is mostly text and images, so hosting one costs pennies a month. Zenpage takes no cut of your book sales: Stripe charges its usual fee and the rest lands in your Stripe account. It is a small independent project. There is an optional tip jar in the dashboard, and paid add-ons may come later, but the website and book sales stay free.
No. You may see Zenpage listed at around $96 a year in some comparisons. That figure is wrong. Zenpage has never had a paid plan.
Only if you want your own domain. Zenpage custom domains run through a free Cloudflare account that you own. Cloudflare sells .com domains at cost, about $10 a year, and SSL is free. Without a domain, your site lives at yourname.zenpage.io and costs nothing.
Switching from Tertulia
Your books with covers, descriptions and buy links, your series in reading order, your bio and photo, blog posts, events and social links. It also saves your old Tertulia page addresses so old links redirect to the new pages. Praise quotes, ebook and audiobook files, merch, custom pages and newsletter subscribers stay behind. Praise pastes in quickly: the editor splits each quote from its source.
For your mailing list, yes. For books, blog posts and pages, Tertulia's help center does not describe one. That is why the Zenpage import reads your public site instead.
Yes, it is yours. If you bought it through Tertulia, email their support for the transfer code. The code is only available once the 60-day lock after registration has passed. Move the domain to Cloudflare, then connect it to Zenpage with two DNS records. If you bought it somewhere else, add it to a free Cloudflare account and connect it the same way.
Yes, through an email provider. Export your list from Tertulia, import it into Mailchimp, Kit, MailerLite, Beehiiv or Brevo, and connect that provider in Zenpage. Zenpage cannot send campaigns itself, so your provider is where you write your newsletters.
Your content and your domain come with you, and those carry most of the weight. The import also remembers your old Tertulia page addresses. Once your domain points to Zenpage, an old link to a book or a blog post goes straight to the same page on your new site, with a permanent redirect that tells Google the page moved. Zenpage sites have a sitemap, meta tags and structured data from day one.
Tertulia does not refund or prorate, so the current period is paid either way. Their terms say your content may be deleted after a retention period once you cancel. Move everything to Zenpage and finish the domain transfer first, then cancel.
